My stock tires (P205/50R17) on my 2004 GT sedan need to be replaced.

Can everyone please share their thoughts on where I could get the best deal on 4 new P205/50R17?

I live in Halifax.

I would try Dartmouth Surplus over in Burnside. If you drive around to the back of the building they have a wheel/tire warehouse that has (as far as I know) the best prices in town, and a good selection of brand-name tires.

Dartmouth surplus can be hit and miss for sizes. Try pudgey tire in cole harbour, Khumo Ecsta 711 $550 installed. 215/45/R17
