You bought it for her or she bought it with her money and you did the negotiations? Only reason I ask is that if i paid for it, out of pocket, I couldn't personally see myself giving that car to anyone, let alone my girlfriend who drives like a granny putting on makeup.
I say keep it and get her a Segway!

My boyfriend bought me a MazdaSpeed3 this saturday...I'm a girl..and I don't drive like granny!! thanks 
I bought it for her assuming that I'll get to drive it enough. I have an offroad Xterra with a 6sp manual so it's reasonably fun to drive around in. Besides, I need it to tow the race car. She drives well enough and will enjoy the sporting nature of the Speed. She drove my 944 turbo for a while and really liked it.
