Hello everybody!!! I was thinking it would only be fitting that my first post would be to say hi to all of you. Now I'm a big Mazda fan, mostly of the trucks myself. The reason I have join your fine forum is my girlfriend just bought a 2004 Mazda 3 GT. Which she can't wait to put some money into, which I didn't really think she wanted to do but it's cool with me. She is thinking wheels and a stereo and adding in the looks department. SO I signed up here to draw from your vast knowlegde, hopefully I can learn alot from you guys. Now I'm not new to forums so I know how it works. No worries I will search all the old threads before asking the same question that has been aske like a million times. I guess I will go and look around for now. I will try and post some pictures up once I get back to town from work. Have a good day.

Welcome! Since you're new to this forum, pictures are mandatory. And, in lieu of pictures in a first post, we need to know color and shape so everyone can question your choices. Picture of the GF would help for some and picture of you would help for others. :? Look around and enjoy!

Ha HA Like I said I have to wait till I get home, I'm working out of town. I have yet to see it myself. From what she has told me it's a Mazda 3 GT, fully loaded, leather and about 30k Km on it. The car is silver, the only color she didn't want, but the price was right. I think she wanted the dark grey, so it would match my truck. I guess it has the 6 cd changer in it. I'm not sure if it's an auto or standard. I guess her and her dad picked it up for 19,900 so it's a pretty good deal. I will give you more info when I find more out.

I am just saying but I don't think that I have ever seen a girl in a hatch before except for some old women who drives a red 04 hatch around town but hardly ever see guys driving em. So I believe mazda3 sedans are chick cars. But... I am just saying

I think he had it right - chick cars. Chicks and sissies. Except for one sissy I know who drives a Hatch - and he's old and kind of butch. A little. :? And people that drive sedans should not be allowed to marry each other, while we're at it. :dhl:

I got a hatch that's probably faster than your sedan..... I don't think soccer vans go this fast....

Rather its fast or not. The hatches are still ugly. As a matter of fact. Just two days ago I was driving my mom home from the store. Shes 61 and knows nothing about cars. Im at a light in the left lane behind another car and another car pulled up in the right lane. My mom goes. "Ew thats an ugly car. What is it?" I said its a Mazda 3 but the hatch back version.

I am the same sitaution. I am new to this forum. I am not new to coupes and sedans and badly wanting to mod. I have owned a 1998 Eclipse GS but didn't have a chance to mod due to an expanding family. But i did buy my first Mazda after i traded the eclipse. I own a 2006 Mazda Tribute,and now i am getting back into modding and looking for some ideas as well. I have 2007 A/T Mazda 3 Sedan Galaxy Gray. I am not into performance, but more for looks, interior and exterior. Any ideas would be great. thanks.
