if you really want your car to shine joelle, have it wet sanded to get rid of all the orange peel and ripples in the paint, the reflections will be perfect like glass. 
I know it takes a lot of work on a grey car to get it looking like that, but all I said was it was inspiration.
Nate, don't think I'll be doing the wet sanding any time soon. Granted, I love my 3, but my heart belongs to another car right now.

It won't reflect like that simple because we have the metallic speckle.
As you can see it's not hard to get a killer shine. 4 hours of detailing and it looks like a mirror, or again, as much as a metallic based paint will get (lots of tiny tiny speckles diffusing light).
