ive thought that for a while, but with the RX-8 in stx, it wont really matter imo, nationally at least
New idea: MS3 in STX?
With the MK4 R32 being in STX, i think the MS3 should be placed in STX also. Anyone want to send in a letter?

Wow... BS RX-8 is faster than the STX winning WRX in the nationals.... Even with street tire, the RX-8 can win in STX stock...
why not race an MS3 in GS, it can be quite competitive there. With so many cars getting moved down, the rein of the Mini Cooper S is over.

The MS3 did not get moved to GS for 09.
Most of the cars that did get moved from DS to GS wouldn't have much of a chance against the Cooper. Most were GS cars to begin with before the reorg that moved them to DS.
Mini Cooper has been proposed to DS in 2010. I already wrote my letter.

I guess I misread the October FasTrack, but on p 3 it says "MOTION: To accept the 2009 Solo Rules changes as submitted by the Solo Events Board.(Noble/Introne) PASSED, Unanimous"
Which if I read correctly included moving the Cobalt SS (Turbo and Supercharged), Mazdaspeed3, Audi TT FWD, SRT-4, Caliber SRT-4, Dodge Daytona, Honda Prelude, and many others from DS to GS. I can see several of those cars giving the Cooper S a run for its money in GS.

Move from GS to HS: Honda Civic del Sol VTEC

pz with all this writing you are doing, are you asking the ms3 to be moved to GS when the mini gets moved to DS?

but I'll agree, the cobalt supercharged doesn't really have a shot against the mini. I think the turbo might, as well as the mazdaspeed3, but if they are still DS then they still aren't really competitive.
