well today was -20C when driving to working this morning on the highway at about 120km (75mph) if i barly put foot on the gas and only applied alittle pressure i would get a fairly load high pitch nose, also when i was driving at 60km (40mph) in 3rd gear i could hear the belt running over the moter it self, one more thing when going back into first gear it was extremly hard to get back in, are all these problems because of the cold, or do i have big problems?? thanks for the help.

my guess is it's the cold. My car makes all kinds of funny noises when it's cold. If you still want to check, take it to the dealer and see what they say, even though your answer will prob be, "it's normal"

Probably normal, cold make all sorts of noises come out on the car, especially the brakes, mine wail like a banshee when I first get the car going in the morning and after work..
