Stock Mz3 here. I am planning on keeping the car for a LONG while, so since I have some cash to spare this summer, I am going to start upgrading the motor mounts. My thought is to go with SU, since they make all three. How are the installs on these? Does anyone have a better idea as to brand, etc?

SU is a good mount man and are easy to install. You will notice a diffrence and will help with wheel hop

Medieval/Darkstar has a GB for all three mounts going on right now I think. They may still have some left and they are at amazing prices.

CPE for the rear MM. Don't have it but I have read lots of good reviews about it. Keep in mind it is a more mild upgrade but has the luxury of no added vibes. Medieval's side and tranny motor mounts looks like solid pieces though so maybe a combo of those would be nice.

CPE does have vibes. They aren't bad but at idle, you know it's there....and I love it!

Maybe because you live in a colder climate? Although the OP is from Chicago so I guess he would experience the same stuff.
