What others do you have in mind and suggest?

dont much matter, i went with the RB's because they were one of the first. plus they look good with the black painted surfaces.

well yah, but why would you want to do that when you can get them painted already?

Go to Pep Boys and buy some Duplicolor black caliper paint. Or any other type of high temp paint.

$77-90 a piece, hm i think its abit too expensive for me, $200-250 would sound about right for 4 rotors.

This will be my next upgrade. I want slotted rotors, SS Brake lines and some nice (quiet) high performance pads. I've found plenty of offers but have no experience. I'd love to see some comments from ppl that have upgraded these components and see some reviews. I'm not so concerned about the rotors and lines but pads. I'd hate to spend on new pads only to have them squeal all the time.

see the problem is that our rotors are expensive... 77 are for the rears and 90 for the fronts. you can't get them at autozone and those places, they don't even carry them at the stores... and if you go to Mazda they want $86 a piece... so for being slotted and stuff they are not a bad price. Also the brand... just my oppinion

The link evades me right now but I read somewhere that the slots should NOT extend all the way to the edge of the rotor, as this creates stress concentrations and *could* increase the chance of cracking. Therefore, I'd recommend the RB ones as well :) I think Rotora makes some as well, though they look suspiciously similar to the RB brakes.

Well it says $77 only for one rotor, not a pair. :(
