So I'm installing universal power windows. The things in the door, did the wiring from the doors, 2 questions. Theres no room to run the wire through the door silicon thing, so how do I hide it from the door to the car. Second question, how do I run the wires from the door to the battery. It says in the diagram to run the wires to the ignition 12v. Where is that? Thanks!

How many wires are you trying to run through the rubber boot that you can't fit them through? I mean if jeba can run these through you should be able to fit a wiring harness through.

It may be a pain in the but to run through the boot, but you definitely want to spend the time doing that vs. cutting extra holes in your doors.

As for getting 12v power there should be a rubber boot in the driver's side firewall near the hood release cable. You should be able to cut into that (or drill through it) and run you wire through to the battery. Alternately I'm sure there's 12v constant available in the PJB that you could tap....... I'm not sure if the PJB from your car would have the wiring present for cars with the power mirrors, but if so you could just tap off of that spot.

So if I go through the rubber boot to hide the wires from the door to the car. I should drill a hole in that adapter inside that rubber boot? To fit maybe like 4-5 wires though? Thanks for your reply btw.

It depends on how big they are, but yes you'll most likely need to drill out the top of that white plug to fit them all through. To get at it you pull the boot loose from the plug, then use a mini screwdriver to push in the tabs (should be two) to pop the plug loose of the door jamb. There's actually a gap at the top of the plug you can fit one or two wires through without modification, so on the other doors you may not need to cut at all (since the driver's door requires more wires).

Once you're done just pop the boot back over the white plug and snap it back into the sheet metal. For running the wires through the boot I recommend a beefy plastic zip tie. Works wonders.
