hawk hps are pretty good pads, but if you want more stopping power, get stainless steel brake lines
Need advice on new rotors and pads.
Hi all,
I just got my 30k service done and the dealer tells me I need new rotors and pads for the rear. They want around 380 for the job. I looked on the net and I see many rotor makers (DBA,Centric, EBC and some others) and I am wondering if any of you can guide me in a good direction as to which is the best to buy. Also, what pads do you like? I am looking for a quiet yet powerful rotor and pad combo.
I have a 23sp '05 and have never been happy with its braking ability so this is a good time to upgrade but I know very little about our cars.
