hey does anyone have (or know of a kit to have) a PS2 installed in there car? It is the original ps2 (not slim) but im not sure about the necessary voltage for the ps2+ monitor. thanks in advance

there's no kit. just put the ps2 somewhere and run the wires.

check in the electronics forum.

there is a shop in Toronto that converts the power supply to 12v. maybe someone in your area can do the same so you don't have to use an inverter.

I have a PS2 installed in my car. What they did is have a converter like skunk2 said. All I have to do is plug in the PS2 and play. If I want to take it out I just remove it from the socket. Pretty cool

I have a slim ps2 in my car. They make a power adapter that plugs into the lighter. You can find it at most electronics stores.

Nice thing about an inverter though, is that you can swap out components much more easily. (ie. laptop, pS2, etc.)
