Just installed the shifter bushings from TWM Performance. The stock rubber bushings are total crap. The TWMs are much nicer and made of high quality aluminum. Install was very easy thanks to the included instructions. The install pictures were a nice touch and the whole thing only took me about 25 minutes from start to finish. Shifting really isn't much smoother than before (only a little bit) but it is definitely much tighter feeling and WAY more accurate. No more searching for each gear like before! The slots are right where they should be now.

I knew I wasn't going to get that silky smooth Honda* feeling just by upgrading my bushings, but for only $25 I can't complain about this mod one bit. Definitely worth every penny. All Mazda 3 drivers should upgrade to these bushings.


*pretty much the only thing I like about Honda.

These weren't as large of an improvement as I had anticipated them to be from all praise people were giving them. Thinking about going back to stock on my Speed3 to feel the difference because I couldn't feel that much. Just my $.02
