I want to dyno my car now that I have the mazdaspeed cai and catback. I'd be interested in seeing what the car is putting out. There is a place down the street from me that has a dyno... I should see how much it cost to run on it.

it is whp and torque...

i think dyno time is like 50$ an hour or something. maybe you can get it for 25$ a run or who knows...but it's not ungodly expensive.

Yeah I was thinking it was right around that price. I know the old car club I used to be in, we'd all go to F1 dyno in Boston and they'd rent the place out to us exclusively for the day, with bbq and everything... and it was $60.00.

Bah. here i got 6 runs about 30 mins. for $20....

aem intake, draxas header & magnaflow exaust...

is'nt our car's 140 whp

9whp gain over stock...

should'nt it be somewhere in the 10-12 maybe 13-15 hp gain @ 5800 rpm?

nop there just fine... (the #'s)


the dyno guy toldme that he's dynoed other mazda 3 and there around 130hp stock

and that aside a lot of things vary between dynos... not every 2 dynos are the same... temperature, humidity, altitude, the dyno itself ... ect....

140whp & 140wtq was about the norm that people were getting on dynojets which are pretty consistant.

I dyno'd 140whp & 140wtq stock and 153whp and 149whp with AEM CAI, BSD and Draxas catback with off road pipe.

I only have a aem & a draxas header... i should be able to get more with a bsd and a 2 1/2 exaust...

All I'm saying, is that may your combo of intake, header & exhaust

may not compliment each other..

with the header alone you should have 10whp...

basically you lost hp with your mods, that's all
