Hey, I've got a 2010 Mazdaspeed3 with 192,300 miles and going strong. The only thing I've been dealing with in the last year or so is the hesitation with starting. There are times it'll start right up and other times it'll take anywhere from 3-5 seconds to turn over. Now, I just took it to the dealer and they replaced the air intake valve. They did mention the battery was bad, but I just bought it in January 2020, and looks like the warranty is good til the end of January 2021. I went to Advance Auto Parts where I bought the battery and they tested it for me to be sure, and they told me the battery was showing good. He even gave me the printout of the test. So at this point, I don't know who to believe.

Anyway, I'm wondering if it's a battery issue as to why my car is still having the hesitant startup or what. Any ideas or recommendations?
