hi

I've been getting interference with a cable I had purchased to connect my IPOD to my Aux jack in my car. There is some static and some electric sounds coming from the speakers. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a particular brand that your using that nullifies this issue?

I am in need of a cable. Warpspeed, what brand did you purchase, and where did you get it?
It's just a simple 3.5mm stereo mini to 3.5mm stereo mini cable.
Available anywhere in various lengths.
Radio Shack, Best Buy, online, etc.
Looks like this.
Thanks Arch I'll check it out. The speakers in my speed3 are decent I just need a little more bass. I'll fix this problem first before I decide on a subwoofer.
most likely you just need to GLI linked above, esp. if you're charging your ipod while you're playing.

The 2007 Mz3 model has a 3.5mm aux input (called the Auxillary Console Input (ACI) by Mazda) in the center armrest console. It's still connected to the multi-pin port on the back of the HU. If you don't have the 2007 model then you don't have this input.

How are you connecting the ipod through the multi-pin port?
that ground loop isolator is excellent, btw.... much better sound quality than any transmitter. definitely no need for the mazda ipod adapter anymore.
hey dude, they sell em at radio shack for a little over $2 and i have mine just settin right in front of my middle console between the cup holder, im gonna move it to right above my ask tray though. but uhh yea this is wat i did i changed the EQ on my ipod to bass booster and surprisingly it sounds really good i even put my bass to -2 on my car with the bass booster. try it and tlel me how it sounds
