sounds like basic turbo lag to me... These engines are just so well tuned in the lower gears where you barely get that hesistation of building boost. However, if youre cruising under boost, youre bound to feel lag when you stomp it. Its what makes a turbo, a turbo.
Then again, something could be wrong too... who knows... I wasnt there to confirm
