Joust found out they put lug lock on the alloy wheels (16"); looked everywhere in the car and still can't find the key. Have to go to the dealer to get one soon.

Please check your wheel and make sure you have the lug lock key. The last thing you want is to have a flat and found that you can't take the wheel off!

If you cant find it tire shops are able to remove the locks without. Discount tire removed mine for free and even put on a new set. However im pretty sure they didnt give the key back the last time they balanced them.

I had to go to a mazda dealer to get mine removed after I misplaced my wheel lock key, cost me about $20 dollars, then another $50 dollars to get a new set of locking lugs.

Same thing happened to me. Luckily there is something that can help. Its like a socket that gets progressivley smaller and smaller. Its a long tapered socket that you hammer onto the lock that squeezes it tight enough that you can just twist it off.

So much for security!
