The bumpers on the US version are the same as the sedan -remember, we have 5 mph bumper laws, you don't.

Has anyone heard if Mazda is planning to bump the 6's torque and HP up a bit?

I love the car, but I'd like to get a V6 with more mmph than just 220. 250+ would be killer. At this stage of the game, I like the S40 and the Altima 3.5 more.

I do like the S40, but the Altima 3.5 handles like a pig - it's just too much power for a FWD car... and even without the power issue it just flat out handles like a pig.

Oh I don't doubt that they handle like crapola.

My friend has told me many a horror story about various FWD cars getting super dyno-tuned at the performance shop he gets his work done at.

Nissan SE-R's up to 400HP, Civics with 600, etc. The cars will not steer straight, and the tires will melt off, but man they'd be fun to drive..sometimes hahaha.
