That's an awful lot of air bags. Although I wish I had had those side curtains in my accident.

Yeah my 6 also has 6 airbags too, I think now some European cars have up to 10 airbags, would be a damn Jumping castle inside the car if you had an accident !!!! 
Depends how you count airbags. The 6 has 10 if you count them differently, not 6.
Driver, Passenger, side left, side right, A left, A right, B left, B right, C left, C right.
Mazda counts it as Driver, Passenger, side left, side right, A+B+C left, A+B+C right.

The car shown above doesn't have 6 airbags. It has 4 airbags plus side air curtains.
I'm counting six. And like MZ6ZoomZoom said, it depends on how you count them.

But it IS 6. Each SAC (left/right) counts as one (or 3, if you count it my way).
Mazda will call it 6.
