I see that Mazda has a new PCM 50.1 update.
I plan to take my car in on Wednesday, once my Yellow Top Optima battery arrives to take care of the new 5 TSB bullentins that I see for the Mazda3. Questions for anyone.

1. Will the dealer fix all of them even if you are not having issues with 2 of them.

2. Has anyone put a mouse pad under their battery to cushion it and for future battery leaks? Will these burn?

3. Has anyone every put clear paint sealer on the bolts and metal that is located inside the battery compartment so rust will not get worst? Will this cause a fire? This was recommended to me from DC Care care website. Regarding a battery leak.

Why did the dealer install a new PCM? How did you know it was bad? How many miles do you have on your 06? I hope that I dont need a new ne, but if so, It is still under warranty.

Does anyone have experience in this, that when you update the PCM and TCM, does the dealer flash the ECU?
BTW: The new updated PCM is 50.12.

My warranty is not up yet. I am also going to dealer at 7a.m tomorrow for them to correct all these issues.

Car is at dealer now for all issues to be taken care of. Will take 2 days.
