Yes, but what are the spring rates? What will the ride height be?
You can't just pop these things in. And what damping rates will they require?
I never buy anything from anyplace, unless this is specified...
Since I am definitely NOT an engineer, or have access to anything more than cursory information I have no choice but to go by what worked in the past with this platform and gave me the performance characteristics I was after. I have never just put something on a car without research and never will. But one DOES need to either trust or distrust the manufacturers and their representatives. (Mazda states an additional 15mm drop and the Konis DO have adjustable dampening), and I have had my last MZ 3 apart completely on the shop floor and drove it after for a period of 25k miles experiencing exactly what I was after. No I did NOT want to spend that much money modding an inexpensive "economy" car but yes I liked the car. Like many of us do, we think the marque provides a great driving experience.
All things to consider, unless the point of the car is just posing.

Posing? I am not a model, neither is my car. Though I am not racing any more, I did for about 12 years. BMW, Nissan, Porsche etc and have built about 8 cars from the ground up including extensive body and suspension fabrication in partnership with a factory engineering staff. I have a decent perspective on what will LIKELY work that I am willing to put on the line with my 23k car and an additional 2 k in mods and labor. If it works well I will tell people about it. if it does not, I will tell people about it. Sorta what the Forum is about.
I love the fact that we all seem to sorta keep the marque headed in a decent direction. I am convinced that the drivers and market are successfully inputting the development of our cars, though I may be naive in thinking that the forum postings are actually read by Mazda officials.
