Following is the sales history of the 3 since launch:

M/Y 12m. Sls %Inc/Dec

2004 76,080 -
2005 97,388 +28%
2006 94,437 - 3%
2007 91,836 - 3% (Annualized based upon January retail deliveries)

Although 3 sales are flat in the U.S., it isn't due to flagging demand, it's that Mazda is capacity constrained while sales in China and Europe are growing briskly. The 3 still sells well with very little incentive support.

i think it's better that they keep sales capped in the US. i like having a car that isn't produced on a ridiculous scale like the civic or corolla. gives it more personality :mrgreen:
