MAF in 2012 skyactiv different than other 2nd gens?

Hi guys, I bought an aftermarket air intake from a 1st gen 2.0L for my 2nd gen skyactiv, and the MAF screws don't line up with the new intake (my maf screws are slightly closer together). Would a MAF from another 2nd gen NON skyactiv do the trick? The intake came off a 2nd gen mazda3 and since it has the same engine as the 1st gen it worked fine, but I guess the skyactivs have a different maf. Wondering if anyone else has messed with different mafs. Don't see what could go wrong but famous last words! 😂
