Mazda actually had a Luxury Line for Asia & Australia called "Eunos"
Called Xedos in Europe...

There were 3 models
Eunos 30x - Rebadged Mazda MX3
Eunos 500 - Smallish Sedan similar to Protege
Eunos 800 - Available with Miller Cycle engine..
