Smart man, smart man. I FING hate front plates and i hate thoes damn holes even more! I might not have cared so much about the holes if they were done right, but they just drill right into the bumper and the outcome as im sure you all know is bad. I plugged them using bumper plugs and painted then with touch up paint. Wow i just went on a pointless rant, my apologies! LOL

Yea mine had some ugly bumped holes drilled into it There was a bit of a corkscrew of painted polyurethane left from the sloppy drill job, I was able to actually stuff the slop back into the hole and make it look pretty good but it still annoys me. Wish I would have been able to snag the car before they went crazy with the drill, the car just looks SO much better without the front plate. Been nearly 2 years now and no grief from the cops either.

Yeah when I had my Protege5 I took off the front plate and never got hassled by the cops... Only the meter maid bitches downtown Denver who would ticket me. Parking meter paid, but would cite my vehicle fo no front plate! Mother F'ers!!

I'll be putting a sheet of paper with "DemonOfTheFall" in my windshield at the meet but I'm sure finding the one other dude in the mazda won't be hard :lol:

I'm coordinating with some of the Colorado Springs pirates since I'll be down there looking at houses. Think the plan is to meet up in the Springs and roll up to Red Rocks as a group. Ok, well some unfortunate news, i just realized that on the 25th i will be in California for spring break so i will not be able to make it to the Red Rocks meet . Damn, i was looking forward to it too! Well that’s life, but we defiantly need to start looking for dates and times for our all Colorado meet.

That kinda sucks but no big deal... There will still be plenty of more Meets/Shows coming up. 8) I'll take pics of the Red Rocks Meet and post them...

I'd probably come but my registrations expired on my truck lol and I'm not renewing it. No point if I'm trading it in. So I can't come Don't want to chance getting pulled over more than I have too. I should hopefully have my car next week.

I understand about the tags, save your ticket for the MS3.:lol: Hopefully we BOTH get our MS3's before the Meet... Because i'd rather roll in that than my Civic.

Haha yeah definitely...I test drove a MS6 last week cause I was bored and holy crap man, I was in 4th doing 95 and didn't even realize it. Fast fast cars....lot faster than my truck....which is still pretty fast in its own.

I almost bought an MS6 when Mazda was offering killer deals on them. Mazda was offering a $3000 instant cash back plus dealers were willing to sell them at invoice. So pretty much you could get a Sport MS6 for like $23,000. I'm a Hatch guy at heart and just told myself to be patient for the MS3 to come out. I never got a chance to drive an MS6 but i've heard them things pull hard... and can you imagine the pull on the MS3's? I'm gonna have to wear a diaper when i go pick up my MS3... :lol:

Not going to be able to make it to Red Rocks this Sunday, but you should check out this Rocky Mountain Gathering the 3000GT/Stealth boards have put together. They have rented a day at Bandimere and a day at the Colorado State Patrol Road Course in Golden. $50 for both. They gave the open invitation to awdpirates.net but I'm sure its not exclusive. I'd like to not show up as the only FWD car there.
