Just checking back in with an UPDATE... Put a deposit for my Silver Mazdaspeed3 Sport that will be delivered in March!! Purchased it from Gateway Mazda in Aurora. I was close to getting a Black MS3 Sport that came in a couple weeks ago but they didn't want to give me a decent price for my trade in. So I have a sick looking 05' Civic Coupe For Sale if you guys know anyone interested. Its one of the cleanest JDM style Coupes in the state. Check out the link...

Thanks guys... Actually, Gateway Mazda DID have a Black MS3 Sport that came in on the 11th of Jan. It was sold pretty quickly by some dude who just walked in. One of the Sales guys was telling me that a bunch of people would call in about it but nobody would ever show up.:crazy: If you want an MS3 from Gateway Mazda, you have the chance now to go in and pick what color you want for their next order coming in which isn't til about May/June. I kinda wanted Red but couldn't wait that long. I used to have a really fixed up Red Protege5 that I had to get rid of a couple years ago. Anyways, as soon as I got my taxes I jumped on the chance to put down $500 on their last Silver MS3 Sport that was not reserved for this next batch of MS3's that are coming in March. I don't even have my VIN yet. I am gonna be paying MSRP minus the $500 deposit I put down. Through my Credit Union I'm approved for a $24k loan at 6.9% to make my payments about $360 a month. I think for sure I'm gonna get the Mazdaspeed CAI if it isn't ridiculously priced, like over $500. I'm definately gonna haggle them to tint the windows though!

STAY away from Burt Mazda!! I just went by there the other day (2/21 Wed.) and they had 4 Mazdaspeed3's. ALL of them had their bullshit mark up of $3999. They did the same thing last year to their Mazdaspeed6's. Thats why they couldn't move them off the lot...

AHAH! Burt is the worst! Markups will not sell cars and they cant seem to grasp that concept. I thought you already bought your speed3, were just checking to see what other dealers would offer?

Yeah I was just in the area and wanted to see what colors they had because I have yet to see a Silver MS3 in person. I toured the Burt lot at around 11pm... it probably was a good thing I didn't run into a salesman because I would've asked him about their ridiculous mark up. Burt did have a Silver MS3 GT on the lot and it was nice!! Now I know what mine is gonna look like, except its not a GT. 8) Gateway Mazda called me on friday and said mine is on the water now and should be here March 15th!! I'm totally stoked!

Too me the best Speed3 color is white but only the Frenchies up north get it. :bash: ASAP appearance Mods to it will be, remove side mouldings, debadge "Mazdaspeed3", powdercoat front/rear "Flying Ms" black, yellow bulbs and yellow tint spray for foglights, yellow hi-beam bulbs, tint windows and powdercoat dark gray or black stock wheels!! And drop it with either Mazda3 Tein S-Tech or Eibach Sportlines.

I am currently shopping around... my postman HIT my car and scratched the hell out of one of my Shinka's and now I have to restore/replace it. The best part is the post office and the cop on scene said the post office would cut me a check and I'd have money for the damages within 2 weeks... its now been 3 months and they have stopped taking my calls and at this point I have to get a lawyer
With new rim/mount ballance and aligment the damage came to almost 1k!
Right now all I have done to my car is removed the side moulding, tinted the windows, RX-8 Shinka rims, CAI, AuxMod + Kuda mount for MP3 player, Yellow Fogs, replaced all interior lights + license plate lights with LEDs, and LED 3rd brake light. Parts I have sitting in my living room that will be installed in Spring are Brembo Cross drilled/slotted rotors, Hawk HPS pads, Rotora Stainless Steel brake lines, Eibach Prokit, CrzyOne1 8" subwoofer cabinet that mounts in Jack Compartment (Still have to buy an amp). I plan on buying a HID kit when I install the rest as well. The TWM STS is on my short list as well

^You have got a VERY nice Mazda3! You've got alot of nice mods lined up for this spring, can't wait ot see it all. I remember seeing a thread on your ride a couple months back with your Shinkas, those are so sick!! I'd die to throw some of those on my MS3. I might look around here locally and get a regular set of RX-8 rims for the heck of it... and powdercoat them Black. :twisted: That blows about the postman hitting your ride, hopefully u get whats owed to you and a little extra for pain and suffering. We'll all definately have to get together as soon as the weather gets decent, hopefully in March. And when we do get together, we could do a little mountain run up through Boulder, Nederland etc. I used to roll with a car crew that we were infamous for our 2am Lookout Mt./Golden Gate Park Touge runs in my Protege5. We would roll at least 6-10 cars. Those were the days... Anyways, a nice cruise is always good.

They're having a huge meet at Red Rocks on the 25th of this month. I'm MS3_Mafia on there also...
It is an AWD site but offers alot of info on everything local. I'll definately be there at the Red Rocks meet and SHOULD have my MS3 by then. My Dealer called me and said my MS3 was at Port and should be delivered within 2 weeks. I specifically told them NOT to drill the holes for the front plate so it can have that clean look up front. It could come as early as this week, so we'll see... And if by some godly punishment I don't have it by then, I'll roll in my Civic.

I almost bought an MS6 when Mazda was offering killer deals on them. Mazda was offering a $3000 instant cash back plus dealers were willing to sell them at invoice. So pretty much you could get a Sport MS6 for like $23,000. I'm a Hatch guy at heart and just told myself to be patient for the MS3 to come out. I never got a chance to drive an MS6 but i've heard them things pull hard... and can you imagine the pull on the MS3's? I'm gonna have to wear a diaper when i go pick up my MS3... :lol:

^Sorry, I was unable to go... Instead I met up with "joshj84" and got to drool over his Red MS3 GT that he just picked Thursday and all I have to say is OMFG.... He also let me test drive it, this thing is a BEAST!! Couldn't believe the pick-up on it!! Saw on the AWDPirates forum the pics of the Red Rocks Meet, looked really cool all the makes of vehicles that showed up. Such a nice day for a Meet too. "joshj84" and I discussed that we should have a Local Mazda3 Meet soon in April, what do you guys think??

News on the meet is it needs to happen!!! I just met up with joshj84 and all i can say is speed3 > all! That being said, im going to put a date out there and maybe everyone can see if they can get that day off of work ect. The date im thinking is Saturday May 19, 2007. This gives those that need to request the meet day off some time to let your company know. Again im just throwing that date on the board, gives us something to shoot for. Any and all opinions on a different date are of course welcome.
