I know some of you out there have upgraded the gears in your 5 speeds cause your pushing the HP. I want to know if someone could point me in the direction of where to purchase the stronger gears and what gears I should consider upgrading. I'm planning on 300HP with regular autox and some track time. Still needs to be a DD though. Thanks in advance for your help....oh yeah I did use the search function for you smart asses :)

Just know that Creative has a deal with them and may be able to get you a better deal. Just so you know.

Thank you for that info, It's looking like I may have to get the gears from other means cause PAR hasn't gotten back to me.........Is Creative a member name or business name?

just go to cpboost dot com call the number on there if you want and ask for Carlos, tell him Riquelmy referred you.

Just spoke with Carlos....thank you for pointing me in the right direction. He was very helpful and informative :) So after speaking with him sounds like 3rd and 4th are the most important gears to get. Pricey but worth it. Can't wait to get my build on!

Trust me, they are worth every penny. I've been running 15psi daily (410+-whp) and NEVER had a tranny issue again after installing them. Before that.... well... let's just say I don't want to recall those times.

Thats solid... for some reason $1800 was stuck in my head.

I know the HiBoost ones were $500ish back in the day. Any idea if these are different, and what makes them different?

Thanks
John

When I spoke with Carlos he quoted around 1800 for 3rd and 4th gears. He mentioned that HiBoost was selling the gears for quite a bit less...the $800 or so that you mentioned. But he followed it with the fact that the gears that HiBoost was offering were of very poor quality compared to the ones he carried that are made in Australia. He said the Hiboost ones were from S. America or something.

What is the quality difference? I have never heard of anyone having issues with the HiBoost ones (of course, I havent been on here much in the last while).
