Not only that, anyone could take a pic of their reading when their car is standing still. If I park my car after driving for a while, it'll read over 120 once I get back into it until air moves around the front of the vehicle.

120? That's crazy. The most my car has ever displayed is 100. When I was sitting in traffic yesterday, it displayed 99 and I'm like wtf, then it went down to 80 once the car started moving.

Well, the sensor absorbs the engine heat while the car's sitting still. So here where it's 100 degrees today, if I parked my car in still air, it would easily read 120 or so when I got back into it.

If my car and my wife's car have been sitting in a closed garage for about 30 mins, the reading will say 130....

Well, remember I don't drive a 3. The sensor in my car might not be placed as well as yours.

06+ models have it. 04-05 drivers are out of luck.

If I took a picture of mine it would show 70. It's beautiful out today.
