i was thinking about adding led lighting to the grille and side underbodies of my mazda but i dont know where to start. could i mount the LEDs and then connect them all and run them through the rubber grommet in the firewall to the inside of the car where i can have a switch to turn on and off the leds? but then where could i tap the leds into to get power? or do i connect them to the battery? and if so, how would i do that? i want to be able to turn on the LEDs anytime with the switch of a button whether it is during the day or night per se. are there any tutorials or walkthroughs out there that teach you how to wire up an underbody kit? plz, i really need help. and i would really like to minimally alter the body of the car.

You might want to check with TEKWATCH as he's done a pretty large amount of LED under lighting.
