Hey all,

I am on 2nd pair of LED 7443 bulbs that I want to use as my tail/light brake light.

Because, the bulb in the housing is angled, most of LED do not work - and neither have these 2 pairs I have bought.

I see some other models that might work, and I wanted to try them, but before I waste any more money, I wanted to ask whether anyone has tried and succeeded with finding a 7443 bulb for the tail lights.

Thanks.

thanks .. I was looking at those from Autolumination: they have 2 designs:

http://autolumination.com/7443_7440.htm

18 High Powered Wide Angle SMT LEDS, $25 each

7443 OR 7440 32 leds (12 forward facing + 20 side facing leds) - $11 each

I think I might spring out for the more expensive ones ....

thanks for confirming that the "Tower" design works.

Hey, i have these in my car and they are actually brighter than halogen lights, not to mention they do light up much brighter when the brake is applied as opposed to others. but, this is only my opinion.

I was going to buy from Autolumination, but saw no reason to try something new, while this was tested .. Thanks

I will take pictures when I get them .. and install them.

OK I got them yesterday

AND THEY DO NOT FIT!!!!!!

they are Too long and run in against the red lens of the housing .. I tried pushing them into the socked deeper and even cracked the socket :)() and they still did not fit ..

I will try to return them .. but oh well - 3rd try and nothing :( it seems our cars are cursed
