Most of my apps are completed, and I've been getting responses for a while now. Thought I'd share with you all here.

Accepted:
Syracuse
Texas Tech
Mercer *
Wayne State *
Samford *
Drexel *
South Texas *
Weslyan *

Wait Listed:
University of Miami
Pepperdine University
University of Richmond *
St. Louis University *

Rejected:
University of Houson
University of Florida
Quinnipiac
Florida State
Seton Hall

Outstanding:
Rutgers Newark *
Santa Clara
University of San Diego

* = Withdrawn

A lot of schools I applied to, as the app was free. Sadly, it wouldn't be worth my time or an AdComms time to apply to a few higher ranked schools, as my UG computes GPA differently the LSDAS, who reduced my UGPA from a 3.58 to a 3.31. I do however have some solid opportunities with the above list. It'll be interesting to see the new USNR rankings this week to see where I finish up.

Would've been nice to see another modded 3 up here at Quinnipiac. Sorry dude.

Is that Wesleyan in CT that you applied to?

My rejection from Quinn was fishy. I was in their 60th percentile for both my GPA and LSAT, so I guess they didn't like some of my softs. Wesleyan is in Fort Worth. Cool thing about Quinn is they debate with the Yale moot court teams all the time, so it woulda been fun.

I'd go to Tech, personally. Somewhat local(ish), affordable and useful here in TX. I work in the legal field, and TBH where you went to school (as long as it's not a bottom or near bottom tier school like Wesleyan) doesn't make all that much difference.

Ahh, that sucks. I know we have an excellent Law program, and the Law building itself is immaculate. Quinnipiac loves it when students come in for interviews... so if you could swing one of those, I bet you'd get in without a problem. Might be too late now though.

Yeah, its what I hear. The trend I noticed on law school numbers after talking with a few others who should have gotten in, but didn't, is if you mentioned ties to the GOP, or working for the GOP in your personal statement or resume you got dinged. I can't say for certain that is what it was, however it appears that someone on the AdComm has an axe to grind.

All of my friends are Christian-Conservative, and the QU student body is about 99% white. They probably didnt pick you because you're too much like everybody we already have, haha.

I got a full scholarship to Quinnipiac Law back in the day... damn I wish I had that debt load (of zero) now.
