in your situation, i would get the racingbeat springs...and stay with a 17" wheel/tire as that will give you most sidewall for comfort and potholes.
if you go 18, you'll have to get lower profile tires to keep the same diameter and your ride will feel even more jarring and possibly damage your wheels easier.
get some 17" wheels with 225/45/17 with the mild drop of the RB springs, i don't think you should have problem.s
