So I just removed the front license plate on my MS3. Without the plate the grill and front bumper are much cleaner, so for me it is worth the possible fix-it ticket. But now I have to holes where the holder mounted. I was wondering if anyone had been able to find a bumper plug for the MS3? Any info will help, even if its a link to another post. I looked around but couldn't find any info.

Are the holes drilled in the moustache or in the actual bumper?

If in the moustache, you can buy a replacement from the dealer. If I recall, they're not that expensive.

I just got a no front license plate/front windows tinted ticket on Sunday. :x Weak, but oh well. I'm going to retint my windows later with 3M tint... Solargaurd is crap, it looks brown in certain light conditions.

how big are your holes? mine are the normal screw hole size and you don't notice them unless you are looking for it or really up close

From what I recall reading here a long while back, danielj is correct. The piece is cheap, it just takes a bit of work to remove the bumper. None of this is from my experience, just recalling old posts.

I removed my front plate too. I went to Autozone and bought a variety pack of black plastic plugs for a couple of bucks [Dorman Part # 963-045, Chrysler, Ford, GM Panel Retainers]. It had two matching plugs with the right dimensions that fit pretty well against the bumper, with relatively shallow convex heads. I figure our law enforcement friends will "request" I put the plate back on, so I keep it with the spare tire along with the screws and a screwdriver so I can slap it right back on while we're discussing the merits of complying with the law.

Thanks, I'll check out some auto store I guess. The holes aren't very noticeable but my slight OCD wants them gone. I'm also keeping the plate in my trunk, but I don't have a screwdriver in there. I'll probably just put some zip ties in there or something, or find a cheap screwdriver.

Thats a negative. Im active duty air force so I am a resident of washington but am currently stationed in lackland afb. The picture was also not taken under the monorail. That is a jet fuel pipe.

I'm thinking about the CP-e tow plate holder now. I'd probably have to pay the price of the mount for a fix-it ticket before long...
