Hey all,

I just ordered the Audio Link ipod adapter and it looks like I will have to connect it to the OEM HU J-02 Pin. So I recently pulled out my HU and noticed that something was already plugged in there. Can someone please confirm that this is for the AUX input inside the center console? And when I go to install the Audio Link, do I just unplug it and leave it in the hanging behind the HU cavity?

yea thats it, you lose the aci when you get the ipod, I'm gonna do the same thing except get the switch box from mazda so both sources work

is there an aftermarket switchbox available? Where do you plan on mounting your ipod? I just bought the 30G video and I'm thinking of using the cupholder (Belkin Tunedock). It's gonna be a pain in the ass when you have two coffees though...
The proclip option looks hot, but expensive - $30 just for the mount. I'm still browsing through forums for more ideas...

[/quote]I'm not sure yet, I just throw it in the cup holder now. I'm getting the video box so I can run my ipod video through the navi screen and then the audio through the stereo.

Got my Audio Link yesterday and hooked it up. It has it's own 3.5mm input for any other media, so I didn't really "lose" the AUX in.
