HU: Clarion MAX675VD
Car: 2009 Mazda 3 GT with Bose Stereo (6 disc / Sat )

Question:
1.If I install the Carion HU into the car can I still use the 6 disc changer (my HU has an input for CD changer), Or does it come out with the Bose HU?
2. Will my clarion HU work with the OEM Sat Radio?
3. I assume I would use the RCA outs to provide signal to the BOSE speakers?

The 6 disc changer comes out, for sure. However, I'm unsure about the rca for the speakers part, and I'm curious myself. I think the wiring harness for an aftermarket HU would some how send the signal to the BOSE amp, but I'm not sure. Hopefully someone can answer this for the both of us.

1. it's built into the HU, so no...
2. i don't think so, or it might take some sort of interface to retain controls...
that's why I kept the HU and upgraded everything else. My free trial is still working, lol.
3- i believe you would need to convert the rca to regular wires if you want to incorporate the bose amp.
i am not even certain the Bose HU is sending a line-level signal.
