So I asked this question over in the wheels and tires section and I really didnt get an answer. I just got some pics of rx-8's with other springs and then everybody got off topic soooo.... I have an 04 sedan and have rx-8 wheels with 225/40/18 khumos on there right now with stock springs and i really want to put a drop and a camber kit on if need be. The prokit isnt quite enough for me so I decided I would like to go with Intrax springs, which are 1.5" drop progressive spring rate springs, if I could. I know a few of you guys including sh1bby69 that have them. Would having the intrax rx8 combo have any problems with rubbing? and another thing... how does the ride compare to that of the prokit? Thanks for all your help guys!..and girls!

I think you'd be fine with the Intrax. People have done it on Sportlines, and I know sok has done a far lower drop than Sportlines, and he is not rubbing.

you'll be perfectly fine. i'im on intrax and with the same tires you have and offset of 45, i've never rubbed

Yea you should have a problem. I'm on 19" and not one issue

I was going to get these springs, but ended up getting the pro kit (eibach)
