Hi!
as you can see from the attached picture, the carpet/trim from the passenger side footwell is coming loose. Is this something that I can get Mazda to repair for me under warranty?

ps - mods please move this topic if there is a more appropriate place for this.

try taking off the side cover with that little screw/clip and tuck the carpet back in. there should be a little stub that the carpet is held down by.

I would say that this is beyond "normal wear and tear" and should be covered by Mazda under the 3 year bumper-to-bumper warranty.

Happened on my 2005. I just got a flat-edge plastic putty knife and shoved it back in there.

there is a service bulletin on this, I forget where I found it. Mine does the same thing. The dealers fix from what I read is that they take a felt pad and put it underneath and just tuck the carpet back under. Yup, thats what they do.
