I bought this today The turtle wax black box made specifically for black cars. Can be picked up at autozone for about 20 bucks. Its a 2 step process. I only got through step one before I lost daylight. I did the prewax which took about 1.5 hours. It got rid of all swirl marks and almost every light surface scratch. Tomorrow its on to step 2. The Black carnuba wax. It looks so good right now after step one I cant wait to see the finished product. I think im gonna pull the door moldings before I finish though. I will post pics when I am done. I just bought my 06 almost a week ago and already love it more than anything.

I highly doubt this is a good thing to use. You're going to kill all of the "mica" in your paint. Its essentially a dyed wax.. it puts color over your paint, and doesnt help the paint at all. When the wax wears off, so do the "benefits" that came with it.

I say buy a PC 7424, some good pads and good products, and have at your car. It'll provide much better results that will last a lot longer.

It came out amazing. It took out all swirl marks and pretty much every light surface scratch out. The paint looks great. From far it looks black up close you can see the color in it. Oh and no more molding. I need to pull the emblems still.

Well.. all that matters is that you're happy. As I mentioned, I think the swirls/scratches are just covered up, and a polisher would be best.. but thats expensive and (knowing Turtle Wax products) I'm sure this isn't.

Well I did use a rotary buffer with it also. My arm got tired and lazy. lol.

Poor Boys products are all I use on my black mica Mazda3. The Black Hole will make the paint so much deeper, richer, and much more vibrant. It's awesome!!
