I live in Columbia, SC and bought my Mazda3 on January 19. I was driving around for 5 days and the only others that I had seen were at the car dealership. Then I, got the call from my sister. She is a student at South Carolina and called me that Friday from her cell phone just to tell me that she saw 2 Winning Blue Metallic Mazda3's. One was the the 5-Door and the other was a sedan with a spoiler.

So now I know that there are least 3 of us in the Metro.

Well we will have another Mazda meet in NC sometime in the future. We could meet up.

Sweet, nice to see someone else in the carolinas loves the 3. I'm working dilligently inorder to get one myself.

If it means anything I work in Charlotte, NC and I haven't seen ANY 3's on the road what-so-ever. I think I'll be pissed the first time I see one, but it won't deter me from getting one myself.

Now if I start seeing 4 in a single parkinglot b4 I get one, I'll be mad as hell.

I know of at least 3 bay area/norcal people - and so far the only other one (with a registration) that I've seen was pulling into service as I was leaving. Technically, I didn't see them on the road.

I am in Charlotte. I got a 3 S sedan (Titanium Grey) and I haven't seen any others yet.

i used to live in charleston.

and i hardly see any 3's, and even less 5-door 3's.

I am seeing more and more 3's in Charlotte finally, but sadly all but one I have seen have been the 2.0

Now I'm confusing them with Protege5's.... I guess after driving a 2002 until December, I forget what the front of my new car actually looks like (I think I preferred the fog lights from the protege better).
