very cool shaund! can't wait to see the pics of your rims.

always be wary of any new device where the manual is bigger...

such a shame the manual talks of all these type a and b stuff that never applies to us.

RX8 have a little higher profile. i left the spec sheet at home. i will post the exact sizes when i get home.

the width is awesome on corners... this is hoe they should be sold.

btw, Mazda australia has taken pictures. might see them as an option soon :)

bigger tyres aren't necessarily better dude otherwise we'd all be driving monstertrucks.

Whats curious is the 17's shown on your car are different to those in the brochure for the SP23 Oz spec.

bigger? they are not bigger same dia' as standard but the width = less roll. better cornering..

mazda 3 with monster truck wheels - that would be cool...

My point was the wheels look nicer in proportion with the car .

I've just had a look at the Aus Mazda web site and the standard RX8 tyre is 225/45R18 while the SP23 is 205/50R17, so the RX8 is larger and slightly lower profile.

Apparently larger wheels reduce torque, but the extra cornering grip with the 225s would be nice .

Looking really sweet...they kinda make the car look mean and chubby. Chubby in a good way though :)

Look forward to the other pics.

Do they rub shaund? The clearance on the back fender looks slim to say the least
