U.S. specs:

i standard - 15x6", P195/65 R15 H-rated all-season
i optional - 16x6.5", P205/55 R16 H-rated all-season
4-door s standard - 16x6.5", P205/55 R16 H-rated all-season
4-door s optional - 17x6.5", P205/50 R17 V-rated all-season
5-door s standard - 17x6.5", P205/50 R17 V-rated all-season

stock offset - 52.5mm
I want to go BIG... 19s! But I dont know what offset or width to get. The 17s on the car now as you can see above, are 17x6.5 @ 52.5mm offset. I want to push the rims out to the fender.. Euro look hehe. Looks like the 1.5" would do.. which is an additional 38mm (or so)

With that in mind.. would a 19x8 @ 50mm cut it?

Im gonna take a BIG plunge and get 19x8" wheels.

Sent some numbers to a very friendly tech @ the Tire Rack: and he thinks judging by the 6, that the widest would be 19x8". Typically, when you upsize a wheel, its 1" taller, 1" wider.

With that in mind, you would guess 19x8.5" would fit. The 3 has a similiar wheel base like my Jetta. I know many friends that fit 19x8.5" wheels on their cars.
