HAHA!!!! I FREAKIN DID IT!!! I figured out how to take the whole assembly appart. I will note right now that I have a 2005 hatch and that whole panel peices is plastic welded in. I'll post pics when I get home from the shop. it was actually pretty easy to do but deff not for the faint of heart! I was sweatin bullets the whole time lol.

I can do that. but I will tell you this aint for the faint of heart. I explained to alec how to do it and he is going to just tape off the area and spray which I recremend mostly. mine's still sitting in peices since I haven't expoy it back together but it is now nicely wrapped with the peices being sprayed black mica.
