Does any one know where to locate the coolant temperature sensor? Or can anyone provide a diagram? I have the new piece to put in but I don't know where to install it. IF any one could help that would be great

Do you mean the thermostat, I have the service manual in front of me with Diagrams

Thermostat is located just behind a hose on the front left side of your motor, remove the engine cover, it is aboce the water pump pulley to the right, next to the manifold.

If looking directly at motor, left side down towards the front.
Thanks for the information but it's not the thermostat. It's the actual sensor for the coolant temperature that informs the computer when it's overheating I guess.... The part actually looks kinda like a fuel injector, with a place for a plug of 2 wires to be attached. The part number is 5S1625 and it is call "Temp Sensor".

Well on the radiator there is a Fan control Module, could that be it ? Small rectangular box with wires coming out of it with a connector. That is located on the radiator - off to one side on the back with the blades.

That is also a sensor of sorts, looking at my book that is the only other place I see, it says it controls the coolant temperature.
just curious as to how youknow it needs to be changed?
temp sensor is behind the cylinder head to the right
