Sometimes I'm amazed by it. So far I've been able to activate it from my livingroom which is one wooden wall above ground to the underground parking one steel door and concrete wall forty feet away. I have also gone through three steel doors and concrete walls in the underground parking. Another time from a building through a window to a parking lot about a block away. Sometimes it freaks people out because they are walking by and the horn honks with no one around. Compared to my wife's Jetta whose remote sucks it's amazing.

My panic button works too well. Ive managed to set it off 2 times now just by leaning against a wall with the remote in my pocket. I think I need to change the battery though, as the range has decreased a lot.

Here's a neat trick, but don't ask me how it works!

Walk away from your car as far as it takes for it to lose range and no longer works. Then, point the fob to you head and I guarantee it will work! For some weird reason, this extends the range! I first saw them do this on Top Gear - seemed so stupid, I just had to try for myself - and it actually works!

I think it has to do with the waves your brain emits... they have some energy to them that pushes those emitted by the remote farther... as far as how sensitive my remote is... i've got no idea... i know its strong enough that i have to make sure i have the time to walk to the car before it automatically closes again.

This can sometimes work if your remote battery is low too. If you hold the remote against your chin with one hand, and reach the other hand straight up in the air you can extend the range even more.

it helps if you open your mouth to

If you yell "IM GAY!!!" as loud as you can it makes the range triple. Try it.

Mine is really sensitive, sometimes I can lock it across parking lots but the farther I get away from the car the more delay there is. Once I was in a parking garage and couldn't find my car so I used the lock button and it worked from a floor away.

If you're touching the remote to your skin it's not anything amazing; you're acting as an antenna. It's a lot like when you were trying to tune in a station on a TV with rabbit ears and as soon as you grabbed the antenna it started coming in clearer.

........Are you serious? And are you only stuck with a 710 cap, and no oil cap in sight? You have a user manual, read it! :)

Haha, I tried it and it kinda works, it only increased it by a little.

And where could I go and change it, just take it to a watch repair place? I was gonna try and do it but I'm to lazy and I already put a couple scratches on it.

As far as distance... I remember being able to honk my car about 40 feet away through a room full of machinery and concrete walls haha.

[/quote]I have no idea what a 710 cap is. I don't really plan on reading the manual until that situation requires it
