I did not know Alpha was Fiat's premium brand.....hmmm interesting.
I'm passing 63K in about 10 minutes when I go to fill up.
Off topic for a second while I clarify, sorry.
Fiat owns Alpha Romeo so in this respect its effectively the premium brand of the group. However Fiat Owns Ferrari so that's the premium brand of the group really! Also Ferrari owns Maserati which is really the cheaper (slightly) brand of Ferrari. Fiat also owns Lancia which no doubt you guys no nothing about.
Errrr, now on topic.... I've done a few more miles now... errr, will that do?!

52,000 KMs.. 19 months into the lease.. no probs besides hard shifting
that alone puts Mazda up there in reliability
Bought my 3 in May of 2005. I just passed 54,000 miles last week.
So far, I've had the axle TSB performed, and a cracked strut replaced. The cracked strut was a gift from the Garden State Parkway and a pothole the size of my driveway. Other than that... it's been a pleasure to own and even better to drive.

DAY-EM!!!! I think it's safe to say that you've got us all beat!! But I'd hate to have your job too. I like driving my 3, but not THAT much.
I post some coment's to other topic, so i'll just copy it here again. It was " Mazda 3 vs Rabbit "
Yes, 182 000 in 3 years. I drive for living and using my car. No major problems at all. At 53 000 miles CEL showed up, i went to dealer and it was mistake, they ripped me off. They changed fuel pump, but car was running fine and my mechanic said that no way was fuel pump problem. I had to go there 3 times, because in less than week CEL was on again, they find another problem, another $ 300, and very same day, about 20 miles later, CEL on again. I got pissed, went back, they give me loaner ( Elantra ) Next day i called " Mazda of North America " headquarters, told them what's the problem, they checked they computers and knew exactly what was happening with my car. Next day i got call from dealer, that my car is ready. Since then no problems, i bet it was some sensor or something like that. Cost me all together over $ 1200. Since then i stay away from dealers as far as i can. Since then no problems at all, just brakes, oil, tires. I still have original belts and clutch, only second pair of front brake pads, 3rd in rear. Changing oil every 5 - 7 k miles. I'm planing to keep it for another 100 000 k or so, we'll see.
