To properly install HID's, you'll need a lot of parts. The housings, burners, transformers, the leveling arms, leveling switch, and obviously you'll have to wire it all properly into your car's harness. This isn't an easy job. If you know exactly what you're doing, it'll still probably take a good weekend to accomplish.
If you just want some upgraded lighting output, do yourself a massive favor, and forget HID. Forget LED. Get some 9011 high beams, and some H9 low beams. They are very inexpensive, work PROPERLY in halogen housings, (because they are halogen!) and almost a direct drop in. The only modifications you'll need to snip some minor plastic away from your new bulbs.
