Can someone refer me to a link or PDF file that illustrates the 2006 mazda 3 CD/Head unit disassembly instructions ?
I know crutchfield sells these but I figured someone here had a copy also ?

wait, do you mean instructions to remove the head unit from the dash or to actually disassemble the headunit itself? I can walk you through taking the headunit out easily.
