I have a 2004 3 with a 2.3. Just replaced the motor with a 2011. I kept all the 2004 harness and components. Stayed first time and ran like a champ. Idled perfectly for twenty minutes, went for test drive, 2 miles later stops running. Wants to turn over but won't. Pulled the coils, they all spark one time then stop firing. Is this the security system in action? Has anyone experienced anything like this? I can't get any answers from dealers. I figured this is where the real experience is.
