A few weeks ago I spun out and hit a curb. My rear passenger rim is bent and when I drive its making a wobbling look, but the car drives absolutely fine. Is this an easy fix? Or am I looking at having to get a new rim? I can post pictures tomorrow.

Its a 2006 Mazda 3i, and the rims and tires are stock.

Bent rim = replacement.

You must have hit it hard to bend an OEM rim.

Yeah I did. Came around a corner too fast and just 180'ed into a curb.

Just hop in your Delorean and go back in time, preventing yourself from ever bending the rim in the first place
Actually you should replace the rim and check your alignment.

you can send it to a local wheel repair store, but they're usually charge you around $75-$100 , depending how bad the bend is .

I just went through this. My husband hit a giant pot hole on the freeway 2 weeks ago and we had to search high and low for a rim that was under $200. Damn aluminum rims! Good luck. BTW, I finally found one on eBay. $55 plus shipping!

I'm pretty sure it was 'buyuseablegoods'.... its in NY. When we went to my mechanic to have it mounted and balanced, he said that there are A LOT of salvage yards in NY and MI and that you'd have the best luck getting stuff from there. Why there are so many there, I have no idea. It was $55 with $29 shipping from NY to Ohio. REALLY fast, too.

It was buyuseablegoods, I went and checked.

I did a search for an 06 OEM rim and came back with a few. Looks like none are under $100 though.

Good luck!

It looks like the hubcap took most of the damage, and since you have steelies, it will be very cheap to replace it.

My rims however aren't bent, Very scraped up.

Since its not a rim, but a steelie, you don't really need to get it fixed. It might be, more than likely, cheaper to just buy a new one and try to get another hubcap from a junked 3.

: )

I've done the same thing about.... 6 or so years ago. I think the steel rim was.. $20 or $25 bucks from a salvage yard! Maybe not even that much...

Good luck, yo.
