I've just had a new Compustar 2W900FMR in my new 07 M3GT however we have ran into some major problems and cannot figure out what is happening. The alarm itself and remote starter work, however, it appears to be a problem with the actual Mazda module in the car under the glove box. The problem is the rear doors are always showing that they are open no matter what the installer attempted. Added to this problem, my auto headlights no longer work, the parking brake light in the dash does not light up when the parking brake is engaged, the rear defroster no longer works either. These are just the problems i've found on the drive from the shop to my house (about 5 mins).

Anyways, we tried another Mazda module from another 3 and everything works fine. What the hell could we have done to mine? Does anyone have any ideas? The only remaining option is to take the car to the dealership and have a diagnostic scan done to see if that comes up with the problem.

Anyhelp would be great.

To clarify... You took a "mazda module" from a different 3 and put it into your car, and everything worked fine? Doesn't that indicate that the problem is the "mazda module"?

You are correct. I should have been more specific. Does anyone know what may have caused the problem to the module?

How long did you have your car before you got the alarm.
